We lived here first.
Every apartment we rent out is one we personally renovated, moved into, and called home. We know exactly what it feels like to wake up in each one — because we did.
A husband and wife,
a neighborhood we love
LPMG started the way most good things do — with a lot of hard work and a genuine love of place. We're a husband and wife team who fell in love with Pittsburgh's North Side and Deutschtown: the old architecture, the walkable streets, the proximity to everything the city has to offer.
Over the years we bought, renovated, and lived in each of our properties. Not a quick flip — we moved in, found what was awkward, fixed it, found what was missing, added it, and refined each space until it felt genuinely great to live in. Only then did we move on to the next one.
That means every kitchen is stocked with what you actually need. Every bed has real bedding. Every bathroom has enough towel hooks. These are the details you only get right when you've been the one who needed them.
Polished for comfort and livability
We didn't inherit perfectly polished properties. We repaired and replaced appliances, added new rooms and bathrooms, fixed floors roofs and heating/cooling, sealed leaks, installed smart technology, and furnished and decorated — then lived with our choices long enough to know what worked.
Small and personal, by design
We're not a property management company with hundreds of units. We manage every property ourselves, respond to messages personally, and genuinely care whether your stay goes well.
Built our reputation on AirBnB first
Before we built this site, we spent years hosting on AirBnB and earned a strong track record of 5-star reviews. That history is still there — you can read every one of them on each listing page.
Why we built a direct booking site
AirBnB was how we got started, and we're grateful for it. But platform fees eat into both sides of every booking — guests pay 10–14% more, and hosts receive less. After years of great reviews and repeat guests reaching out directly, it made sense to offer a better deal to everyone.
When you book here, you pay less than you would on any platform, and you're dealing directly with us — the actual owners — not an algorithm or a support bot.
